exchanged the push press for hspu due to back considerations.

31:25

the situps were rough on the back by themselves.

Jake, you must have misremembered. There is a 20 minute time limit on all Challenge WODs. I could have explained that better, but still...

Me: 80 presses + 300 abmat sit-ups in 20:00.

i remember the 20 minute mark exactly, i was at 320 situps and 80 hspu. i thought about stopping at that point and hence the remberance

...and it took you 11+ minutes to finish 20 HSPU and 180 situps?

Jake Buchanan said...

yes, my lower back was burger by that point. my heart wasn't in it post 20 minutes, i only finished thinking i had to.

the victory is yours on this one. i modified the push presses and did not do ab-mat situps.

Naylor, you need to change your name to "Animal" and go to this page, pick a picture and use it for your profile.

I'm not sure abmats help, but I think it gives a wider range of motion.

i was under the impression that they were only for lumbar support because the 'regular' situp is hard on the lower back.
