Balancing Act
Number of Rounds in 20 minutes:
10 OHS
20 ab-mat sit-ups
Choose your weight but choose wisely. The score for this workout is the number of rounds completed multiplied by load. For example, if I were to complete 10 rounds at 65 lbs my score would be 650. If I were to complete 5 rounds at 85 lbs my score would only be 425.
One other very important point for this workout, no racks allowed. You must be able to get the weight overhead by your own means, whether this is with a clean / press / jerk from behind combo or a snatch does not matter.

13 completed rounds
65lb on the ohs
65#x130reps=8450#
one of the greatest wods ever.
Jakob, your "score" would be 845 (# completed rounds x OHS weight).
Well done, although you should have beefed it up and gone for 115lbs.
all you gotta do is finish 8 rounds at 115 and you got me beat. that's cake for you. i'm still trying to drill good form into my muscle memory so i don't have a debacle like the heavy jeremy again. i do wish i could have done more today though.
11 rounds @ 95lbs as rx'd.
Total Score: 1045.
This was a gritty effort. I totally wanted to quit and/or drop the bar on each of the last 5 sets of OHS. My arms were shaking, my legs were wobbly, but somehow I was able to hold on.
I did the first 6 rounds in 10 minutes, and the last 5 rounds in 9:45...but really, the "dead zone" was between 6:00 and 12:00. That's when I slowed down.
I can't say I feel better now then when I started, like Jake, but I'm alive and I beat someone. That's the important thing.
that's 110 reps at 95lbs, well done, that's a pile. you could have beat me at 9 rounds. you should now officially change your name because you pushed yourself to finish 2 rugged rounds when you could have quit. that's definitely not grooving it.
Rubbing it in yields more pleasure than just squeaking out a victory.
Just ask Sam how it felt to beat you by 44 seconds today. I bet he's on cloud 9 right now.
Besides, you're taking my name all wrong. It doesn't mean that I groove the WODs, it means that with each passing day I'm greasing a groove that needs to be greased. I'm the super greaser.
