within the past week my hips are finally feeling better from the last time i did this wod months ago. it brutalized me. it's appropriately named.

seriously, i had this funky pain in my hips for 2 months, i felt it on deadlifts and swings. maybe now i've built up a tolerance for them!!!

this one along with tommy's wod of 10 ohs x 20 situps should be benchmark wods. the crossfit girl wods got nuthin' on these 2 wods.

forgot to mention that my 9 year old boy and 7 year old girl watched the music video with me, they laughed through the whole song and wanted to watch it again.

did you see that wod from crossfit main site today? whoa, looks ghastly, 30 hspu? 70 burpees? we should name that one the 'homer' because of the burpee love he has going on. he said he's back to working out just this week. we need to get him in here.

Jake, did you really get 8:02? That's over a 3 minute improvement from last time. Well done.

yes, 8:02 was it. i'm kicking myself for not pushing more. you'll think i'm nuts, but in hindsight i think i could have averaged a round every :40 seconds and finished in 6:40. i overestimeated it at the beginning and simply wanted to do a round every minute, but that was easy so i picked up the pace and on the last 5 rounds i held the 40 second pace.

i only did 10 deadlifts per round. ---- that may explain why this one was so much faster than the last time. i just peeked at the last time this was posted and we did 15 reps. so i may have done it wrong. i thought it read 10 reps.......

That's my fault...not sure why I left the deadlift reps out of the equation.

10 reps each round this time.
