"Barbara"

Five rounds, each for time of:
20 Pull-ups
30 Push-ups
40 Sit-ups
50 Squats

Rest precisely three minutes between each round.

Post time for each of five rounds to comments.

I know some of you have some time constraints, so do as much as you can in 20:00 if/as needed.

3:01, 2:43, 2:39, 2:31, 2:26 = 13:20

first time ever doing this wod. we performed each round on the five minute mark, so the rests weren't quite 3 minutes. not bad for not being on the zone as well as doing it at 5:30 am. btw, i will never be on the zone.

Nice. I read the "not bad for being on the zone" comment and was wondering what the heck was going through your head...then you cleared that up with the "btw".

yes, i will be the anti-zone monger eating as much as i feel like whenever i feel like it.

good to hear from you man!

i was well rested, mondays are usually my best day, i beat myself up during the week and by the end i'm pretty hammered. in the future notice how my performance diminishes toward the end of the week.

i did an untimed Helen and then three rounds of Barbara
1. 3:27
2. 2:49
3. 3:18

the second round just about killed me! LOL

jake your times are awesome. how did you manage to improve your time every round? my bpm's were still racing by the time i started the next round. good work man!

it's a long story, sam was really pushing me. sam doesn't like to be beat. the last 2 rounds i had to do the squats full blast with no rest, i've never done that before.

also we do it at 5:30 am with no warmup so it takes a little while to get loosened up.

hey man, when you have your EQ over how do you get them to do full squats? my guys don't recognize the need to get below parallel. or do you just let them be understanding they're getting one heck of a workout anyway?

Naylor said...

well unfortunately, most of my EQ have stopped coming. right now its just my brother and then another guy comes on tuesdays and thursdays. however, before i would try to get them to do full range of motion on movements, but most of them were so out of shape that any movement was good.
