your call...how many challenges do you want to have during the month? for some reason i thought you wanted to do MWF=challenge, can't remember at the moment.
great wod. this should be a benchmark. this is better than a fran or a helen or any of the regular benchmarks. we should measure our progress with this one. you struck gold with this one naylor! that 800m run to start things off with absolutely kills any thought of kicking this wods butt. after finishing i feel great, like i've got the best workout possible. man, i've got nothing but great things to say about this one. that run to start things off with is brutal. i had hopes of doing the pullups consecutive, but i only came close on the first round and made it to 19. the remaining 4 rounds i had to break it up into 11,7,7, it made me feel completely weak.
seriously, we need to add this to the permanent rotation and name it. it's a great measuring stick. the only possible change would be to make it thrusters instead of push presses. but the presses add their own difficulty because of the aerobic factor involved.
time of 17:11...i had to do jumping pull ups instead...and it stii kicked my butt. this did not include the run right before. i ran 3.5 miles 1 hour prior.
i volunteer as a trail coordinator for the ice age trail (part of which was on our 50 miler), so it requires me to spend some time outside hiking or running the trail to check the conditions and make sure it is maintained fairly well. so today i ran 3.5 miles and last friday i ran 5 miles. when it gets snowy, i am going to strap on the snow shoes, mostly for the fun of it, and still hit the trails.
