Full squat cleans:

1x185# - pr!!!
1x195# - fail. It was mental, 185# felt solid, I should have been able to do 195. It was simply a mental barrier that I couldn't break through.

Well done ant. I can't bring myself to do the squat cleans for some reason.

Coach Buergner said that a squat clean is just a missed power clean. Power cleans are better, more dynamic and explosive pulling being required.

I am unbelieveably pleased with my performance. I hope to just continue to master the 185#. That particular weight is a milestone and will sufficiently prepare us for the qualifiers. Clean and presses, push presses, ohs, thrusters, etc....should be mastered with the 185#.
