I have spent the better part of the last 2 days (yesterday and today) recovering from about 24" of snow. It's still whiteout and I'll have put about 2.5hrs into snowshoveling by the end of today, if not much, much more.

I think it's time I invested in a snowblower to save my back, or make my kids grow up faster so that they'll do it themselves.

I'm glad you're too lazy to do your wod. I wasn't looking forward to you brutalizing my pathetic attempt.

Too lazy?

Add another 1.5 hours real shoveling tonight. Once summer hits there will be an imposed ban of "virtual shoveling" to recoup from this nasty stuff.

Seriously, snow is overrated, especially when it comes in 18-24" intervals, snows all day and Mr. SnowPlow driver lovingly places 3'+ of hard snow at the foot of the driveway.

I'm buying a snowblower. That's all there is to say.

You old Floridian, you still haven't learned your lesson yet, have you?

You must learn that your wod is your warmup for shoveling. If you fail to prepare, you prepare to fail.

This time of the year all wods are performed with about 15lbs of clothing and in snow rated boots. The atire for my wod on saturday consisted of snow boots, winter gloves, hat, heavy coat, 2 layers of flannels under my jeans. Yes the flexibility does suffer as does the time, but it is what must be done. It does add a unique perspective and feeling to the wod. But there's nothing like seeing your breath come out in cloud puffs.

My breath hasn't been "cloud puffs" it's been like an uber dense fog. I breath and can't see in front of my face for 10 seconds. It's that cold in my garage.

If I had done my WOD as a warm-up for shoveling I'd be laying dead in the snowbank with the shovel frozen in my hands and frost growing on my chin. My back is all messed up from all the shoveling.

I performed pathetically on your modified Linda. It was a ridiculous attempt. The only consolation I have is that I finished. It's a very small consolation. I'm unbelieveably disapointed that it took so long and that it was so hard. I think I'm regressing in my capacity.

Your body is compensating for your overly strong tongue. Get used to it Ant Man.

Actually, I could do it, but what fun is it being the only lonely?

I guess to be totally honest that's the reason and anything else is just an excuse.
