I just peeked at the last time we did this wod almost 3 months ago.
August 11, 2008 Tom: 6:36 Jake: 7:24 Chris: 8:30
Chris' time decreased by 4 minutes, but on August 11th he only used a 53# kettlebell for the high pulls. This time he did it as rx'd.
I had a 1:41 improvement. That's nuts, I knew I worked harder on the one back in August. I remember not being able to do the 10 sdhp's consecutively and having to start/stop/rest throughout the sets. The one this morning I was able to do all the sets unbroken.
I was thinking that both you and tom could average 40 second rounds. If you were able to maintain that pace that would give you a 4:40 time. I think you both could do that.
It does feel better to be able to do it and not have the weight kill me.
I just watched the OPT VS Freddy. I also found a Bionic vs OPT u-tube video.
Bionic 5:13 OPT 6:15 Freddy 7:11
I think I could have shaved off some time. I was doing the rounds in 40 seconds flat but I would rest for about 10 seconds before I'd start the SDHP's, after the first 2 rounds I just wanted to keep a 50 second round pace. I think it was mental not knowing how I would be at the end. I think at minimum I could have shaved off 5 seconds per round and got close to Bionic's time. So now it's up to you guys to beat Bionic. I'll have to wait until next time and just wonder.....
Once one of us beats bionic, we'll have to move up to 115# sdhp's.
Man, Freddy was struggling with the ring dips on that video, even OPT was having to break up the sets. I'm sure now they could do better as that video is a bit outdated. Freddy was really having a tough time on the sdhp's as well.
I've totally stopped running in hopes to gain some strength, my legs feel much better and I'm gaining weight. Back on May 10th, I weighted 150 flat. This morning I was 167.5. At almost 6 months exactly to the date I'm gaining about 3 pounds per month.
Back in the day I got down to 137 after my dad had a heart attack and I got scared and stopped eating.

Not bad monkey man......
especially while recovering from the flu. You still hacked off 30 seconds from 3 months ago.
6:37
i subbed jumping dips and jumping ring dips in.
i can push through the sdhp pretty fast but my ring dips really need work.
Berb, you should have done August's GTG. My ring dips were lacking until I did the GTG in August, now they're 100x better.
i did it in 7:40...i haven't worked out since. i've been under the weather all week, been falling asleep by 9pm every night...sucks!
Falling asleep @ 9pm is a wonderful thing sometimes.
BTW, I didn't know that B A's could get sick.
i pitty the virus that thinks he can come up in me!
