for time:
5 pullups for each weight in lbs.
20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 80, 70, 60, 50, 40, 30, 20
times will more than likely vary, depending on if you use a dipping belt or just put the weight between your legs.
chalk up and feel the love!
this song gets me PUMPED!!! you may recognize it from Nike's "My better is better than your better" commerical

thank you naylor, finally the legs get a rest.
29:44 as rx'd
18:40 first half(just getting warmed up)
11:04 2nd half
great wod naylor!!
i believe that we moved 3,500lbs upwards on this one.
dude, you did that really well. transfering the differents weighs sucks up a lot of time and you still did it under 30 mins. nice man!
what i love about this wod is that its very primal. it's just you, a bar, and some weight!
i know, i finally got a better system down on the second half and i realized how much time i was wasting.
man, 80# is right at my max, i could barely do them, just barely. i have an advantage with this one though because i'm a lightweight. you thick buggers have to move some serious weight when you figure bodyweight plus the added weight.
if you weigh 208 + 80 = 288#
me weigh 157 + 80 =237#
you are moving much more weight than me.
I did an untimed scaled version...
1: BW
2: BW
3: +10
4: +10
5: +25
6: +25
7: +35
8: +35
9: +10
10: +10
11: BW
12: BW
13: BW L-pullups
No rhyme or reason to it...I had to strap things on w/ a bungee cord and it couldn't handle any more than 35lbs, so I just did a light version.
no worries. i broke my first dipping belt while kipping with a 70lb kettle bell. LOL
all hell broke loose when that happened. the hook flew up and smacked my face. i lost my grip and came crashing down into my garage door, cracking my cast!
I had visions of that happening on my last set of 35...that's when I decided to scale back more. I was picturing that hard plastic clip riccocheting off of some unfortunate body part and that was enough to move on.
What do you have a cast for?
Don't tell me you've been schooling all of this with a broken appendage...
my left leg was in a cast for 3 months Feb-Apr and a walking cast for 1 month. i was doing physical therapy at the end of may and into june.
i had a pretty nasty sprain, tore a bunch of ligaments. i'm still icing it at night, very frustrating.
I knew Naylor would nail me to the wall on this one- no pun intended. he knows my weakness is that pull up! GRRRRR! I pretty much was unable to add any additional body weight. You got me naylor-- that was a good one, my mouth was open.. (eddie murphy and the fart game).
Anyways , can't be more happy to say that I am glad this week is almost over.
