With this workout, you have the option of doing the workout as rx'd, with the (3) 400m runs...

...OR...

...you can replace the (3) 400m runs with (1) 400m farmer's walk w/ a 70lb & 50lb KB.

Do whatever you feel will be faster for you.

The grading of this challenge will be based on (1) the # of rounds completed and (2) the total time spent running/farmer walking.

The winner of the total rounds will get 2 points, 2nd place 1 point, 3rd place 0.5 points and a finished will get 0.25 points.

Same for the running/farmer's walk portion.

Berb, where the h3!! are you?

Talk about grooving a pitch right down your power alley Jakob...this was the perfect WOD for you.

thank you groover. i'm wondering how you're going to do with the frausto. i'm looking forward to seeing how you brutalize it.

i almost did the farmers walk, then i looked at how far it was. it looked like 3 miles to carry those dogs. i totally understand how you said it was brutal. you were really moving to finish in under 6 minutes.

My farmer's walk was far from "really moving." It was an effort just to finish...

1st rest: 100m
2nd rest: 150m
3rd rest: 200m
4th rest: 240m
5th rest: 300m
6th rest: 350m

I honestly had to stop that many times because my forearms felt like they were going to pop...

7 rounds of Cindy + 5 pullups and 7 pushups

8 rounds of dips/squats + 10 dips and 4 squats.

i decided on the farmer walk...did it in 4:15. i loved the farmer walk! we should do a wod that is like 4x400 or something.

i actually did another 400 meter walk after the wod, but didn't time it.

jake i gotta tip my hat off to you. 10 rounds in 5 minutes is seriously fast man! my bpm were blowing up at round 5.

thanks man! i wish i could bench or thrust or deadlift or squat what you could do. i'm really weak there. someday man i may get close, you're one strong dude.

this is the first time in my life that i have dedicated myself to getting stronger and i'm getting there slowly but surely. i have been watching my weight and i'm steadily gaining 1 pound per week. i'm not running other than what's in the wods that come up so i think the gain is muscle, it's always been hard for me to put on muscle so after the 50 miler with homer, tom and berb i really wanted to stop running long distances and see if i could put on weight and add some strength. i think it's working. although i'd still like to hop into a marathon or 50k and see if i could do it with really no running training.

the 5 minute cindy did give me some confidence. i think i could hit 36-38 rounds. although, i would not want the doms after that.
