I'm going to kill myself doing this...hope the thumb holds up.

Heck, if my thumb can't hold up playing with the kiddies, what's to say it can't hold up doing 100 DL? I might even go for more weight just to say I did...then lay in misery for a week recovering my hammers.

I finally did something...

And, miraculously, my hand/thumb held up through it all. I didn't feel any weakness during the lifts, though it feels a little tender/weak right now.

Afterwards, I tried a "push" exercise where I had to push the weight up and did 3x205lb bench and it held up alright, though a little weak.

Overall, it felt good to finally do something and it feels good to be getting back closer to performing. Overall, I'd say my thumb is at about 65-70% of normal, still significantly weaker than usual but far better than it was 2 weeks ago when I couldn't even squeeze a tube of toothpaste.
